"Comfortable latex pad, but I HATE that the bottom of the cover seems to be a horrible synthetic material tgat may degrade into microplastic- exactly what I wanted to avoid with a natural latex product. It is very slippery and the topper slides down a few inches each night."

"I sleep so much more deeply and comfortably than I did on my old setup. Talalay latex outdoes memory foam by a mile for this side sleeper! I have a connective tissue problem which can make staying relaxed in any one position for a long time quite painful for my joints, especially if they aren’t lined up right. I’ve tried several combinations of mattress + topper on my adjustable bed, and the combo with this 3-inch Talalay topper is the winner. A high-end supportive hybrid mattress on its own was good, but just too hard. Adding a 3” memory foam topper seemed helpful for a while, but my body soon told me it wasn’t the answer - I wasn’t moving enough during the night because the enveloping foam made it hard to do so. Shifting around a bit in your sleep is normal, and for me it’s essential. Night after night, I was getting poor-quality sleep that ended prematurely because of the pain that came from being too still for too long. This Talalay topper is the secret ingredient in a winning combination. The mattress is the same, but the topper is totally different. The surface lets you sink in, but only in a way that is somehow still stiff, like it’s pushing back. It’s kind of like you’re on a buoyant surface that contours just enough in the right places for your joints to stay lined up - including in the spine. I still use a pillow between my legs to keep everything from my hips down in the right alignment, but I’ve switched to one that’s much skinnier because I almost don’t need it anymore. So worth the money! And the company seems to treat customers well - I emailed a question about how long I should expect to wait for my delayed topper, and I got a polite answer fairly quickly. The item itself arrived within mere days - a coincidence, I’m sure, but who knows?"
