At a height of 10.25 inches, Dreamfoam Hybrid comes in a mid-range mattress height. (The average mattress height being 8 to 12 inches.) For an illustration of the mattress, a detailed description of each layer, and a full product description, please visit our product page here.
The mattress varies in weight starting at 45 pounds for a twin up to 105 pounds for a king. For the dimensions of each mattress size, please consult our information graphic here.
Dreamfoam Hybrid helps to banish “sleeping hot” with a cool-to-the-touch panel that is sewn in as a quilted top layer. This panel, made from phase change materials (PCM), draws heat away from your body to prevent overheating, and then releases heat as your body temperature lowers. This system works to let you sleep at the ideal skin temperature of 88 degrees.
For additional cooling support, the foam-infused gel cooling beads respond to your body’s temperature, remaining dormant when you are cool but activating when your skin temperature reaches more than 88 degrees. And the premium individually wrapped coils allow for airflow and breathability, letting heat escape as needed.
This mattress offers a medium feel (a 5 out of 10 for firmness). The top cooling panel is a .75 inch ultra-soft quilted cover with exceptional contouring. The next layer, a 2.5 inch patented gel memory foam, offers optimal pressure point relief with the perfect amount of responsiveness. The base of individually encased coils offers additional compression support and great motion isolation.
The mattress’s base of individually wrapped steel coils offers deep compression support while also offering great edge support from a reinforced perimeter of tightly wound coils.
Dreamfoam Hybrid is engineered to support as much as 950 pounds—a standard feature for all DreamFoam mattresses. However, if you are looking for a mattress built for a plus size sleeper (or a plus size partner), please consider our Titan mattress, found here.
Any mattress foundation with slats no more than 3 inches apart will work well with any Brooklyn Bedding mattress. While a mattress foundation is not necessary, please be sure that the mattress rests on a surface with minimal to no flex.

None of the Dreamfoam mattresses should ever be flipped since they are all designed with a supportive base and topped with select comfort layers. Instead, we encourage you to rotate your mattress every 6 to 8 months for optimal comfort and sustained longevity.
If during your 120-night sleep trial (which begins once you have received your new mattress), you decide that you are not completely happy with your mattress and wish to return it, we will help dispose of your mattress and help you begin your return.
Please allow 30 days to laps from the date of delivery before beginning the return process.
Customers are able to make use of this 120-night comfort trial on one occasion. The second occasion is not eligible for a return.
Please note: there is a $99 return fee for all mattress returns to cover the cost of picking up your mattress. We do our very best to donate, recycle, or otherwise repurpose all returned mattresses.
