The Dreamfoam Copper is 13 inches, making it slightly higher than the average mattress. (The average mattress height being 8 to 12 inches.) For an illustration of the mattress, a detailed description of each layer, and a full product description, please visit our product page here.
The 12 inch mattress varies in weight starting at 40 pounds for a twin up to 100 pounds for a king. The 13 inch mattress starts at 50 pounds for a twin up to 110 pounds for a king. For the dimensions of each mattress size, please consult our information graphic here:
Dreamfoam Copper helps to banish “sleeping hot” with a cool-to-the-touch top panel that is sewn in as a quilted top layer. This panel, made from phase change materials (PCM), draws heat away from your body to prevent overheating, and then releases heat as your body temperature lowers. This system works to let you sleep at the ideal skin temperature of 88 degrees.
For additional cooling support, the mattress is only made from foams featuring open cell technology. This promotes excellent airflow and breathability, allowing body heat to dissipate.
Made from luxurious latex-alternative foam, the 13 inch model offers a medium feel (a 5 out of 10 for firmness). The Dreamfoam Copper features a premium smooth top weave panel, infused with copper-graphite to offer a cool nights sleep. A layer of memory foam offers body hugging comfort ideal for all sleep positions.
The mattress’s base of individually wrapped steel coils offers deep compression support while also offering great edge support from a reinforced perimeter of tightly wound coils.
Dreamfoam Copper is engineered to support as much as 950 pounds—a standard feature for all Dreamfoam mattresses. However, if you are looking for a mattress built for a plus size sleeper (or a plus size partner), please consider our Titan mattress, found here.
Any mattress foundation with slats no more than 3 inches apart will work well with any Dreamfoam mattress. While a mattress foundation is not necessary, please be sure that the mattress rests on a surface with minimal to no flex.

None of the Dreamfoam mattresses should ever be flipped since they are all designed with a supportive base and topped with select comfort layers. Instead, we encourage you to rotate your mattress every 6 to 8 months for optimal comfort and sustained longevity.
If during your 120-night sleep trial (which begins once you have received your new mattress), you decide that you are not completely happy with your mattress and wish to return it, we will help dispose of your mattress and help you begin your return.
Please allow 30 days to laps from the date of delivery before beginning the return process.
Customers are able to make use of this 120-night comfort trial on one occasion. The second occasion is not eligible for a return.
Please note: there is a $99 return fee for all mattress returns to cover the cost of picking up your mattress. We do our very best to donate, recycle, or otherwise repurpose all returned mattresses.
